RTD seeks public feedback on proposed January 2025 service changes

RTD invites customers to share feedback about a number of proposed service changes that, if approved, will be implemented on January 19, 2025. Two public meetings are scheduled at noon and 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21; and a drop-in session at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 23. RTD invites community to propose honorary names for stations and properties

RTD is accepting applications for honorary names for its stations and properties, inviting individuals and organizations to propose names that recognize significant contributions to transit. Eligible locations include stations and Park-n-Rides, with proposals requiring community support. Interested applicants should review RTD’s naming policies before submitting; a committee will evaluate submissions for final approval by the RTD Board. Full story.

Young transit enthusiast highlights benefits of Zero Fare for Youth

Meet Jackson Ledesma, a dedicated 16-year-old supporter of public transit. Since moving to Denver at age five, he has enjoyed commuting on RTD, especially the articulated buses along Broadway. A highlight for him was attending an RTD Board meeting to celebrate the permanent Zero Fare for Youth program, making transit more accessible.
